Are You Spam Safe – Check Again

Protection from spam should be in top of the priority list for any one using exchange server. A spam may affect you in various ways; like a virus sent through a spam may get injected in your computer and makes it function improperly and also may lead to loss of your important data, bulk mails occupy you important email space which once gets exhausted may not allow you to receive any mails. Therefore it is advisable to timely check that all your protection measures are working perfectly.

Setting up a spamfilter exchange server provide your email exchange server a mechanism to deal with spam mails, before they reach the email exchange. If a mail is identified as spam it is simply deleted. This methodology has a fallback that, sometimes an important mail is also flagged as spam and may get deleted even before you read it.

Another method includes using of junkmail exchange server. If an incoming email is reported as spam then junkmail exchange redirects it to junkmail box. Such mails are to be explicitly deleted by the users, and if not deleted with a period of few days then it is automatically deleted. Storage of such junkmail is not included in your inbox space.

So, if you are using an exchange email don’t forget to recheck the protection list if you want your email exchange to be spam proof.
